A Vision of Modern Interior Design that Fosters Innovation, Creativity, Deep Learning at Harvest

In preparation for the incoming student bodies internationally and domestically, the evangelical education institution is actively making plans to create a welcoming environment designed to foster creativity, innovation, passion, and efficiency.

Among the plans, the University leadership is making plans for renovation and development of the 150,000 square feet facility in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Some of those plans include converting the third floor of the building from classrooms into multi-family apartment for dormitory uses, installing fire suppression system, setting up café bars in the lounges, updates the cafeteria for dining, beautifying the landscaping surrounding the building, and more.

The leadership of the university believes that the environment in which a person studies or works in influences his creativity and emotional mood, and hence places much emphasis on renovations and development that will be implemented in phases according to order of priorities.

A healthy learning, study, and workplace environment is ideal when it comes to maintaining a positive outcome in a stressful atmosphere. One of the most important thing that influences student, faculty, and staff motivation and happiness, and how productive and efficient they can be, all goes down to their working environment.

“As we plan and design the environment, we will be considering each area and what activities would take place there,” said a member of the executive team, noting the way how one’s surrounding changes the way one feel. “We want to create areas where the students, faculties, and staff could choose to study and work where they feel most comfortable.”

Today’s leaders in the business and technology space knows that when you focus on the user, the rest will follow. By making the user happy it will create a products and platform that is the best of its abilities and keeps the users satisfied. In the same vein, Harvest University wishes to create an environment where its people will be able to produce their best works for the glory of God, the ultimate creator.

Prayers During the Coronavirus Pandemic

The Coronavirus pandemic has rapidly spread globally and has significantly transformed life as we know it for millions of people all over the world.

For many, COVID-19 carries feelings and challenges of loss, fear, anxiety, isolation and many other stresses. As many of us face many uncertainties, it is critical to remember that there is no uncertainty in God.

Let us express our faith in God through prayer, that he is faithful to listen and answer the prayers of his people.

“The Lord is near to all who call of him, to all who call on him in truth.”
-Psalm 145:18

Today, we pray:

For those who are living in fear of this pandemic, the fear of illness, fear for loved ones, fear of other’s reactions to them, may the Spirit of God give them a sense of calmness and peace.

For those whose health is compromised by the coronavirus or other health issues, may the Lord protect them and keep them.

For health care workers and first responders who are taking care of the patients, may God strengthen them and protect them from any harm.

For the field of medical researchers who are working diligently to find the Covid vaccine, we pray for the Lord to direct their paths.

For the leaders of the world and our countries as they seek to help manage this challenge, may God give them wisdom and courage to make the best decision.

For those who are isolated or quarantined because of the virus, May Jesus be their joy, their hope and their counsel.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen

COVID-19 Mask Guidance

Masks are required to be worn on Harvest University property at all times and in all classrooms, common areas, points of entry or exit, or in any location where other people are present or where you cannot control who you come in contact with. Exceptions to this rule would be if you are in your own residence, office, or enclosed workspace, or in an empty common area.

HU recommends that students, staff, faculty, and visitors wear masks that meet the most recent CDC guidelines on masks.
